New Build Snagging Inspections in Falkirk
Falkirk sits between Glasgow and Edinburgh with strong road and rail links, and new build communities have been growing across the Falkirk Council area, from Polmont and Larbert to Stenhousemuir, Bonnybridge and Bo'ness.
Best Snag is a team of independent Chartered Building Surveyors. We carry out detailed snagging inspections on new build homes in Falkirk, so every defect, poor finish and piece of unfinished work is recorded before you complete, or while your builder is still responsible for putting things right.
Buying a new home is one of the biggest purchases you will ever make. A professional inspection gives you a clear, photographic report to hand to your developer and the confidence that nothing has been missed.
What We Check on a Falkirk New Build
Our surveyors work through your home room by room, checking finishes, joinery, doors and windows, plumbing, electrics, heating, roofing and external areas against the standard you are entitled to expect.
Housebuilders including Cala Homes and Taylor Wimpey have been building at Lathallan Grange in Polmont, and Larbert and Stenhousemuir have seen further new housing too. The quality of finish can vary from plot to plot, even on the same development, which is why every home deserves its own inspection.
After the visit you receive an easy to read report with photographs. You can use it to agree a snagging list with your builder and customer care team, and our snagging process page explains exactly what happens from booking to report. You can also see our pricing before you get in touch.
We also carry out snagging inspections in nearby West Lothian and North Lanarkshire.
Moving into a new build in Falkirk? You have spent a lot of money on your new home, so you have every right to expect it to be free from costly defects.
